Alborz (Al) Namazi- BSc, BBA, P.App., AACI

Alborz brings extensive experience in real estate valuation, consulting, and negotiation, having worked at all levels of government, including the CRA, BC Assessment, and the City of Burnaby, as well as with many private firms across BC, Alberta, and Ontario. With over a decade of expertise in commercial, industrial, investment and residential valuation, he has appraised a wide range of properties, including complex multi-phase developments. He has led over $2 billion in CAC valuations and negotiations and has appeared as an expert witness before the Review Panel, the Appeal Board, and the Supreme Court of British Columbia. His experience also includes participating in public hearings and presenting before councils, boards, and executive committees on various real estate matters.

Alborz holds multiple degrees from SFU, with concentrations in finance, management science, and mathematics, and is currently focused on data analytics. He is a member of the BC Expropriation Association and the Canadian Operational Research Society. Dedicated to advancing the profession, he serves as a teaching assistant in the UBC Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation (PGCV) program and is actively involved in projects at the intersection of AI and real estate. A member in good standing with the Appraisal Institute of Canada since 2014, he applies his expertise in valuation and consulting while also assisting clients in navigating complex property tax matters.
