Brett has almost three decades of appraisal experience in British Columbia. He specializes in valuation and consulting services pertaining to expropriation proceedings and litigation support, with a focus to public acquisitions. Brett currently serves as 1st Vice President of the Appraisal Institute of Canada – BC Association, and chairs both the Provincial Advocacy Committee and the National Investigations Committee. Brett is an active member of the BC Expropriation Association (BCEA), sits on the Assessment Appeal Board of the Semiahmoo First Nation and has been accepted as an expert witness before the Supreme Court of BC and at Arbitration Hearings.
Andrew has been practising in the commercial property appraisal business for over twenty five years and has vast experience in the appraisal of all types of real property including office, retail, industrial and multi-family properties. He also specializes in the valuation of gasoline stations, automotive dealerships, car wash facilities and self-storage developments. Andrew is a former Director of the Vancouver Chapter of the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Andrew has acted as an arbitrator, and has been accepted as an expert witness before the Supreme Court of BC and at Arbitration Hearings.
Neil has extensive experience in a wide variety of valuation matters, with particular emphasis on the valuation of acquisitions for major infrastructure projects and consulting services for litigation and arbitration purposes. He has been accepted as an expert witness by the Supreme Court of BC and in arbitration proceedings. Neil is the current Secretary and past President of the British Columbia Expropriation Association.
Jessica has completed a variety of real estate valuations for clients in all real estate sectors since entering the industry in 2009, with a particular emphasis on expropriation related matters. In addition to providing consulting services for lenders, Jessica also specializes in the valuation of purpose built rental and social housing developments. Jessica currently sits as a Board Director of the British Columbia Expropriation Association, serves as Co-Chair for Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Vancouver’s Membership Committee and is a Board Director for the Appraisal Institute of Canada’s Annual Conference in Vancouver 2020.
Steven has ten years of experience in the valuation of all types of commercial real estate with a focus on industrial properties and Single Room Occupancy (SRO) buildings in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. Steven’s practice extends to Vancouver Island as well as to the north and interior of British Columbia.
Dylan began his career in the real estate industry at a boutique commercial brokerage firm where he assisted with sales, research and marketing. He joined Garnett Wilson Realty Advisors Ltd. in 2012 and has acquired extensive experience in the valuation of all types of commercial real estate including industrial, retail, office, multi-family and proposed development properties in Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and other areas of BC.
Bob has extensive experience in the real estate industry including property management accounting, asset management and over fifteen years of appraisal experience. He specializes in income producing assets such as shopping centres, office buildings and industrial buildings. He also has experience in land valuation and commercial development properties. Bob’s client base includes major pension funds, private investors and financial institutions.
Tyra has fifteen years of experience in a broad range of appraisal assignments including seniors housing and partial takings as well as a variety of unique, rural and remote properties in British Columbia. Tyra graduated with distinction from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Commerce in 2004. Following this, Tyra received a Post Graduate Certificate in Property Valuation with first class standing from the University of British Columbia.
Thomas has worked with Garnett Wilson Realty Advisors Ltd. since 2015. He has extensive experience in a broad range of IC&I property valuations throughout Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. He is also actively involved in the valuation of single family properties.
Courtnee joined Garnett Wilson Realty Advisors Ltd. in April 2017 and brings over six years of experience in a wide variety of commercial industries including business law, business analysis, financial operations and office administration. She is currently enrolled in the Real Estate Division at the UBC Sauder School of Business, working towards achieving the requirements for accreditation with the AIC.
Courtnee conducts market research and assists in the preparation of appraisal reports for a wide range of real property as well as for unique consulting and expropriation assignments within Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and other areas of BC.
Philip has undertaken a wide range of consulting assignments for residential and commercial properties which include development sites, office buildings, multi-family, retail and industrial properties.
Victoria joined Garnett Wilson Realty Advisors Ltd. in January 2018. She is actively involved in research and valuation assignments covering a broad range of commercial and residential real estate throughout Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. Victoria graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with First Class Honours in International Business and is currently enrolled in the Real Estate Division at UBC Sauder School of Business, working towards achieving the requirements for accreditation with the AIC.
Adrian completed his Bachelor of Commerce from the Tec de Monterrey – Sauder School of Business Joint Academic Program in 2005. He is currently enrolled in the Appraisal Institute of Canada’s Fast Track program at UBC while he works at Garnett Wilson Realty Advisors Ltd. He joined the firm in June 2013 and has experience in a range of commercial properties.
Megan has experience conducting research and providing support in the preparation of appraisal reports for industrial, retail, office, mixed-use, multi-family and apartment properties in Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and Greater Victoria.
Madison is a graduate of the UBC Sauder School of Business. She joined Garnett Wilson Realty Advisors Ltd. in May of 2017 as a research assistant, and today her practice focuses on broad based IC&I appraisal as well as litigation support and expert testimony services.
Jeffrey has considerable experience in researching and analyzing commercial real estate within Metro Vancouver. Jeffrey continues to build his skills and knowledge in the appraisal industry with emphasis on valuing multi-family land and proposed developments as well as commercial retail/office/industrial properties for financing purposes. Jeffrey graduated from the University of British Columbia with a BA in Geography and is currently pursuing his AACI, P.App designation as a candidate member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
Celia joined Garnett Wilson Realty Advisors Ltd. in November 2017. She is actively involved in research and report preparation for a broad range of real property throughout Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
Rosetta has over twenty years of experience in valuation, underwriting and banking. Rosetta’s current appraisal practice focuses on the valuation of office buildings, retail buildings, shopping centres, vacant land and proposed residential and commercial developments. In addition, Rosetta has experience in assessment appeal and lease arbitrations.
Prior to her current position, Rosetta worked in commercial mortgage underwriting with Cushman & Wakefield, asset management with Sunlife, retail and commercial mortgage underwriting with Vancity and ACM Advisors, as well as overseeing compliance review of mutual fund transactions and mortgage underwriting standards as required by OSFI (Office of the Superintendent of Financial Associations).
Greg joined Garnett Wilson Realty Advisors Ltd. in May 2019. He is actively involved in research and valuation assignments covering commercial and residential real property for consulting, litigation and financing purposes.. Greg is a graduate of the UBC Sauder School of Business with a dual specialization in real estate and finance and is currently working towards his AACI, P.App designation with the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
Alwin entered the appraisal industry in 2014 and has since accumulated experience in a broad spectrum of asset classes across British Columbia. These include industrial, retail, office, rental apartments, development and holding properties and special use properties. Prior to joining Garnett Wilson Realty Advisors Ltd. in 2019, Alwin specialized in property tax consulting services on behalf of both owners and tenants in property assessment appeals.
Denise manages all facets of administration and report production for Garnett Wilson Realty Advisors Ltd., including supply management, accounting and client contacts. She also collaborates with the firm’s management team to develop and execute strategic marketing and business development initiatives.
